A Lot of Bang For The Buck In This Little Speaker Amazon is already in the speaker business with their Tap, Echo, and Dot, so it’s no surprise to see them add a bluetooth speaker to their Amazon Basics line. As with most of the products I’ve tried in the Amazon Basics line, this speaker is no frills, works well, and is a great value.

Emits high pitched whine while playing This speaker is great except that it emits a high pitch whine when playing audio through Bluetooth. This is a very important point since it was designed to play audio through Bluetooth. You can’t hear the sound when the volume is loud enough. I would not buy this speaker a second time.Update: Don’t use this to listen to podcasts. The noise cuts right through.
