Excellent design, great functionality, and cool color combination. After my last Bluetooth headset – the Plantronic M165 – got chewed up and destroyed by my dog, I got this newer M180 unit. And I love it! I like this color combination of gold and white better than the previous white & silver combo.

A suitable alternative I am relplacing my Plantronics M160 with this version. Frankly I was happy with my M160 which performed like a champ until it met its demise in a boat full of salt water in the Gulf of Mexico. I decided to spend the extra 20 bucks for this new, improved version. My experience with the M180 has been pretty straight forward. M165 in disguise? I got this headset with hopes this was a newer Plantronics model (because of the M180). I’m still not entirely clear what this particular Plantronics model is since there is no documentation about the M180. However, when I got it, on the box it said “Marque 2”. So, I am assuming that this may be a European/international version of the M165 Marque 2? Except for color differences it appears to be identical in appearance.
