Nice device with a couple of mildly irritating quirks. I bought this holder for my car (2012 Accord), then later bought the iClever for my wife’s SUV (2005 Acura MDX). I like the iClever more. This one is okay, but there are a couple of things I think they could have done better. The clip that holds it to the AC vent louvers fits too tight. I really had to push it to get it to clip on. It is spring-loaded and I don’t know if I’ll be able to take it off without breaking it. My second (minor) gripe is that the swivel action is too loose…
Great for window, won’t stick to dash Works great! Sticks firmly to my windshield and holds. To get a good seal you do have to pull the locking tab all the way open before pressing the cup to the window, but if you do that (and have clean surfaces) it will stick and hold even a large, heavy phone like my Galaxy Note 4 in a case. Doesn’t last more than a month! I have the one that attaches to the CD player. That stays in place, sometimes needs a nudge but it’s fine, easy to deal with. My problem is with the ball mechanism attached to the base that will not maintain the height you want. It simply falls to the lowest level. Worst part is that this lasted longer, a little over a month, than the one month warranty return policy. So now I’m stuck with a broken holder.
